My practice is based on drawing – mostly in the form of large-format watercolors, but also as picture books, sound, and text. I like to utilize drawing as a story-telling tool, where individual pieces become fragments of open-ended narratives built around a fictional premise. These stories often take place in an ambivalent future time/place best described as the end of the world, which serves both as a mirror for the existing social or personal realities that I’m trying to examine, and as a catalyst for imagining new ones. I live and work in Belgrade, Serbia.
